Plate-Loaded High Row
A primary horizontal pull movement for back.

Set up
Adjust the seat or chest pad and load both lever arms evenly.
Execute
Pull the handles down and back, then return until the arms are long.
Complete the final repetition with the same controlled path, then return the load safely.
Coaching cues
- Drive elbows toward ribs.
- Use a repeatable range.
Common mistakes
- Lifting off the support or shrugging at the finish.
- Adding load after position or control is lost.
