Conventional Barbell Deadlift
A primary hinge movement for glutes, hamstrings, back.

Set up
Stand with the bar over midfoot and take a secure grip.
Execute
Brace, take the slack out, and push the floor away.
Finish tall, then guide the bar back to the floor close to the legs.

- Bar over midfoot.
- Push before you pull.
Common mistakes
- Jerking a loose bar from the floor.
- Leaning back at lockout.
