Set up
Stand tall with an even comfortable grip and arms long.
Execute
Curl the bar while the upper arms remain near the torso.
Lower to straight arms without dropping the shoulders forward.
Coaching cues
- Keep elbows quiet.
- Lower all the way.
Common mistakes
- Swinging the hips to start each rep.
- Letting the wrists bend back under the bar.
