Single-Arm Machine Chest Press
A secondary horizontal push movement for chest.

Set up
Set the seat at chest height and brace the nonworking side against the pad.
Execute
Press one handle without rotating, then return to a controlled stretch.
Complete the final repetition with the same controlled path, then return the load safely.
Coaching cues
- Keep shoulders square.
- Use a repeatable range.
Common mistakes
- Twisting toward the working arm or shortening the return.
- Adding load after position or control is lost.
