Cable Split Squat
A secondary lunge movement for quadriceps, glutes.

Set up
Hold a low cable near the torso and establish a wide stable split stance.
Execute
Lower vertically and rise through the front leg while the cable remains quiet.
Complete the final repetition with the same controlled path, then return the load safely.

Common mistakes
- Choosing a stance that pulls balance off the front foot.
- Adding load after position or control is lost.
