Band-Assisted Chin-Up
A primary vertical pull movement for back, biceps.

Set up
Secure a band to a rated pull-up bar and place a foot or knee into it carefully.
Execute
Pull the chest upward with the shoulders controlled, then lower to long arms.
Remove the foot or knee only after both hands and body are stable.
Coaching cues
- Drive elbows down.
- Control the band return.
Common mistakes
- Using a damaged or insecure band.
- Dropping quickly into the bottom.
