Bodyweight Lateral Lunge
A secondary lunge movement for glutes, quadriceps.

Set up
Set up in a clear space and inspect every contact point before starting.
Execute
Step to the side, sit into the working hip, then push the floor away to return.
Complete the final repetition with the same controlled range, then exit the position safely.
Coaching cues
- Keep the working knee aligned.
- Use a repeatable, pain-free range.
Common mistakes
- Turning the foot or collapsing the knee inward.
- Continuing after position, control, or equipment security is lost.
